Welcome - Are you up for the Challenge?

20th - 28th September 2012

Register for this exhilarating Challenge in one of Africa's most compact and beautiful countries. This life-changing Challenge combines a physical trekking challenge with a rare opportunity to venture off the tourist trail and experience directly the impact of your fundraising efforts. Conquer the Mount Mulanje massif on a 4 day trek, push your physical, mental and emotional boundaries. Visit the "warm heart of Africa" and discover for yourself the warmth and genuine welcome of the Malawian people. Discovering the true heart of rural Africa, while making a real difference will be a  totally liberating and life changing experience.

During the trek you'll be exploring the hiking trails of the Mount Mulanje massif, camping in mountain hutsCelebrate your achievement with a Malawi Gin and Tonic or sample the infamous "Kuche Kuche" beer on an early evening cruise on Lake Malawi,  Africa's third largest lake.  Accompany a Microloan Loan Officer on one of his or her regular round of meetings with Microloan Foundation client groups in rural villages near Salima. BURSARY PLACES
We believe in complete transparency so that all sponsorship money raised for the MicroLoan Foundation is used to help women in rural Africa rather than being used to subsidise a participant's adventure holiday. However we have a limited number of  sponsored "bursary/scholarship places" available for participants who are willing to commit to a higher fundraising target and pay a proportion of the costs of the challenge themselves. Click here for more information.

NB Spaces are strictly limited to 20 people and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Go on, what are you waiting for?
